Use Zone Zero Navigator as a first-pass documentation assistant, not as a substitute for qualified field inspection, local fire authority review, professional advice, insurance review, or emergency guidance.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Zone Zero Navigator, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Acceptable Use and Screening Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, and the Data Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the scanner, report, profile, recovery, or premium features.
Screening only
Zone Zero Navigator provides photo-based wildfire screening and documentation support. It is not an official inspection, legal compliance certification, permit approval, Fire Hazard Severity Zone determination, or insurance eligibility decision.
How the service works
Zone Zero reviews exterior photos submitted by the user, compares visible conditions with the screening rules for the selected jurisdiction, and produces a report with review cues, photo limitations, and next steps. AI-generated markers and findings identify areas to review; they are not official inspection findings and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Local authority controls
California and local Zone 0 requirements are evolving. Local fire authority guidance, final regulations, property-specific facts, and Fire Code Official interpretation control over any app-generated report.
Photo limitations
The app can only evaluate visible conditions in uploaded photos. Hidden gutters, vents, roofs, under-deck areas, side yards, property lines, and material types may require additional photos or field review.
No professional advice
Reports are informational and do not provide legal, engineering, construction, insurance, emergency, or fire-code professional advice. Consult qualified professionals and local authorities before taking or delaying action.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use paid features. Account creation is optional for screening, but you are responsible for safeguarding any account credentials and activity associated with your account.
Your photos and permission to use them
You retain ownership of the photos and information you submit. You give Zone Zero permission to process, store, and analyze that content only to provide the screening, report, backup, recovery, support, and related service functions described in the Privacy Policy and Data Policy.
Premium reports
Premium reports and Fix & Verify are one-time digital purchases processed through Stripe on the web. They provide expanded documentation features, but do not convert the screening into an official inspection. Payment provider terms also apply at checkout.
Refunds and cancellation
If a paid product is unavailable after a confirmed purchase, a charge is duplicated, or a paid scan produces only fallback demonstration output, contact support with the account email, report ID, and checkout time so Zone Zero can review the issue. Zone Zero Pro renews monthly per seat until canceled; organization owners can manage seats and cancel future renewal in the Stripe billing portal. Access continues through the paid period unless a refund or account action ends it earlier.
No emergency use
Do not use the app for active fire, evacuation, emergency response, or life-safety decisions. Follow local emergency instructions and call emergency services when appropriate.
User responsibility and assumption of risk
By using Zone Zero, you accept responsibility for independently verifying all findings and for decisions made from app-generated reports. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zone Zero and its operators are not responsible for losses, damages, denied claims, enforcement outcomes, missed hazards, or decisions made from app-generated reports.
User content and permissions
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to upload property photos, addresses, notes, and other content. Do not upload images or information that you are not authorized to process.
Prohibited use
Do not use Zone Zero for emergency response, evacuation decisions, surveillance, unlawful property inspection, harassment, insurance misrepresentation, government impersonation, or any use that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
Required acceptance before use
Scanner, report, profile, and recovery features require acceptance of the current Acceptable Use and Screening Disclaimer. Acceptance may be requested again when the terms are materially updated.
Changes and availability
Zone Zero may change features, policies, reports, model behavior, or availability over time. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, or configuration changes.
